Open The Door – Yoga, Shamanic Healing and Sound Therapy Retreat
May 17-21, 2024 in Ancient Epidaurus, Greece
Open the Door to stunning Greece and to new experiences in this Yoga, Shamanic Healing and Sound Therapy Retreat in Ancient Epidaurus in Peloponnese. You will stay close to the heart of ancient city of Epidaurus, where Asclepius, a Greek god of medicine was said to have his healing center and cured people from various illnesses. This was the location of the ancient world’s center for healing where spiritual healers, physicians, therapists, and holistic practitioners focused on treating the mind, body, and spirit of each patient.
This unique retreat will combine the healing powers of movement, meditation, shamanic ritual, and divine sounds of musical instruments from around the world! We will start each day with a yoga or shamanic practice session either at a secluded spot by the sea on a private beach or at a shaded and airy yoga shala overlooking lush greenery. The morning vibrational practices will be followed by a delicious breakfast made from fresh local products. There will be plenty of time to explore the surrounding area either by walking, biking, swimming, or snorkeling in the crystal clear Mediterranean waters. We will reconvene in the afternoons or early evenings for another practice together – a soothing yin yoga session with musical accompaniment of sacred native flutes, singing bowls and string instruments, a special shamanic journey, a candle light meditation, a profound sound healing. Each evening activity will be designed differently but will always support the frequencies of healing, relaxation and rejuvenation. The retreat will culminate in a magical Mayan Fire Ceremony by the sea.

Weekly Sound Healing Under the Stars Group sessions in Athens, Greece
Come join us for weekly sound healing sessions in a solarium looking up at the stars. Sound Healing promotes physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well being. Many instruments are used such as tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, flutes, chants etc… to create vibrational resonance that stimulates cellular and energetic healing and relaxation in the body. Yoga and Sound Bath Group Session on January 28, 2024
Come join Mayan Angel and Yellow Your Spirit for a combined rejuvenating session of Yoga and Sound Healing. Yoga in combination with Sound Healing will be used simultaneously together to stimulate and enhance your body’s natural tendency toward health and self-healing.
Yoga offered by Yellow your Spirit will be used to build strength, awareness and harmony in both the mind and body and include breathing exercises, meditation, and assuming postures (sometimes called asana or poses) that stretch and flex various muscle groups.
Sound Healing offered by Mayan Angel will immerse each person in sound frequencies or waves from various instruments and sources like crystal or Tibetan singing bowls, flutes, chimes, vocals, gongs, etc… The brain will be stimulated to release worries, concerns, errand thoughts and stresses, while the body attunes itself to higher vibrational frequencies which will unblock and clear energetic chakras and channels of the body.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring yourself, your breath, and your yoga mat, and dress in comfortable clothes! Bring cozy socks or a favorite blanket.

The location is in the city center of Athens. We are deciding between two locations still so we will let you know! But either way it’s in Athens and will be close to the metro.
